Bug Description

System:
Intrepid AMD64 with latest updates as of October 9th

Symptoms:
Apt should detect that both kfilereplace and kfilereplace-kde4 conflict. They both at least provide the same file:
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/kfilereplace.png
When you go to install both of them with synaptic, it will tell you:
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/kfilereplace-kde4_4%3a4.1.2-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/kfilereplace.png', which is also in package kfilereplace

Intended Behavior:
Apt should attempt to uninstall the formerly installed of the two packages when you go to install the other.
or
The locations of the files in the packages should not conflict.

This bug was fixed in the package kdewebdev-kde4 - 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu2

---------------
kdewebdev-kde4 (4:4.1.2-0ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low

  * All packages conflict and replace their non-kde4 counterparts
    (LP: #284275, #280960, #277989)
  * kdewebdev-kde4 suggests kommander-dev-kde4 and kdewebdev-doc-html-kde4,
    both are not existing => removing suggests
