Bug Description

Binary package hint: kita2

Kita2 is "2ch browser". "2ch (2 channel)" is most famous Bulletin Board System in Japan.
In September, 2ch changed protocol. Since then, old Kita2 ( < 1.90.4) can not write comment.
I think this will become a reason of Feature Freeze exception.

Kita2 has no changelog file.

Will this work with KDE 4.1 ?

If it means to work on Kubuntu Intrepid Beta/KDE 4.1.2, then yes, it work. However you need to install KDE 3 libraries.

If it means that "Kita2 is KDE 4 application", then no, Kita2 is KDE 3 base application yet. Upstream author said "Next version will support KDE 4."

Yes, checking better I see that this depends indirectly on kdelibs4c2a. Ok, motu-release ack #1 from me (note that you need a second for this to be approved and then you need to go through the sponsoring queue).

This bug was fixed in the package kita2 - 1.90.4-0ubuntu1
