For the record: nautilus-actions is currently orphaned upstream. It seems this was corrected some one year ago in trunk, but the maintainer had no more time to keep on, so no new base was released.

I have downloaded SVN trunk some time ago, and built it locally. It does seem to resolve this issue (and the plethora of other n-a-related issues we have been having). [for the record, the Makefile that is created has two typos.).

I do not know, though, what is the Ubuntu policy regarding upstream-orphaned packages. I will send out an email to -dev-discuss on that.

Although this bug has been fixed in the upstream SVN, we still depend on a new upstream distribution. See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480179 for details.

This bug was fixed in the package nautilus-actions - 1.4.1+svn521-0ubuntu1

---------------
nautilus-actions (1.4.1+svn521-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Take SVN version to fix SIGSEGV crash in
    gconf_client_remove_dir and autilus_actions_config_gconf_reader_finalize
    (LP: #182345, #271114)
