[hardy] Cannot install from PowerPC desktop cd.

Bug Description

The installation from the hardy 20080416 daily build desktop cd for PowerPC stops at 82% with a pop-up window containing this message:

The specified Ubuntu archive mirror is either not available, or does not have a valid Release file on it. Please try a different mirror.

This is a showstopper bug!

Can I get /var/log/syslog from the installer, please? You can extract it using "Save debug logs" from the installer's main menu.

Oh, hang on, you said the desktop CD. /var/log/syslog is still what I want, but you can just submit it from a browser on the live CD.

Hmm, OK, that wasn't much use unfortunately. What's in /target/etc/apt/sources.list (you'll need to retrieve this after the error occurs but *before* allowing the installer to exit)?

Here is the /var/log/syslog file from my system (slot-loading G3 iMac 350MHz 512MB RAM).

/target/etc/apt/sources.list does not exist.
