Bug Description

FHS says that a Linux distro needs to provide /usr/share/misc/magic, as a symlink if necessary. It seems like upstream has moved the stuff generically to /usr/share/file/magic. This should be fixed on order to be LSB certified.

TESTCASE
install file and libmagic1
$ readlink -e /usr/share/misc/magic
- if no pathname is returned, file does not exist

I've verified that /usr/share/misc/magic does not exist in {file,libmagic1} 4.21-3 in Hardy and does exist in 4.21-3ubuntu1 in Hardy-proposed.

The file command still appears to work for me, as tested against the random collection of binaries, libraries, and scripts in various languages.

  * Add symlinks to /usr/share/misc to conform to the LSB (not just in spirit).
