Binary package hint: nautilus-open-terminal

Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
nautilus-open-terminal 0.8-1ubuntu2

The context menu item reads:

Open _I_n Terminal

According to GNOME Human Interface Guidelines 2.0, 8.3.2. Capitalization,[0] it should read:

Open _i_n Terminal

[0] http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/design-text-labels.html.en

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

I have confirmed this and attached a patch to fix the problem. The archive maintainers have been notified.

I am pretty sure this fixes the problem and doesn't cause any other issues, but this still needs to be tested for locales other than en-US.

The package is available on my PPA if anyone wishes to test it.

Note you need to restart nautilus for my patch to take effect.

Thanks guys, good catch!

I just fixed this upstream with a similar patch, which also fixes the string for the desktop directory, if the user wants to open his desktop directory in a terminal when right-clicking the desktop.

For Nautilus-Open-Terminal 0.8, the above patch looks fine.

For Nautilus-Open-Terminal 0.9, you can apply the patch from SVN trunk:
