Upstream is in feature freeze release process also, so this release is bug fixes only.

The upstream changelog refers to bugs with a FS#, the details can be found on this tracker:
http://issues.wxformbuilder.org

To test that the new version works, I uploaded the source to my ppa, installed the resulting binary package on Hardy Alpha 6, and ran it.
Everything worked as expected.

Since the original package is from you, I think you know the correlation between wx and wxformbuilder best. ACK #2, setting to confirmed.
