Bug Description

grep XKB /etc/default/console-setup;

XKBMODEL="pc105"
XKBLAYOUT="fr"
XKBVARIANT="oss"
XKBOPTIONS="lv3:ralt_switch"

Working well under X but not under console. With num lock or not it's the same thing ;-)

Reproduced; I think it's a bug in Num Lock handling. This is (I think) a regression from dapper so I'd like to deal with it for hardy.

Oh, I see. ckbcomp has a strange special case for some of the keypad keys that fails to fire in this case because none of the other symbols on that key start with "KP_". I'll try to figure out if this can be simplified by supporting those keys properly, or if the special case needs to be made more intelligent.
