Bug Description

Binary package hint: kmail

I started using Kubuntu gutsy and switched to Hardy in a failed attempt to make HD videos work (I would still like to figure out how no one around here seemed to have anything to say http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=661179). My 'cat /etc/lsb-release' is;

root@speedy:/mnt# cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu hardy (development branch)"

I was doing a click around in kontact after hearing about it and it crashed. I found it crashed whenever I clicked favorite folders so I tried it in kmail and the same thing happened so I assume this is a problem with kmail (or it could just be a problem with my system). The crash report backtrace I get is

Confirmed here and it is supposed to be fixed upstream. Will try to update to new upstream version in next couple of days.
