Bug Description

nautilus-open-terminal does not create a right-click menu entry to open an terminal under Hardy Alpha 3.

Thanks for your report. I can reproduce this issue in Hardy with version 0.8-1ubuntu1, which is a version from Gutsy, so this is probably due to the recent changes in Nautilus.

I can also confirm that open-terminal no longer works as of the change to gvfs in Nautilus.

sorry Onkar Shinde can't report on this package, I use the 64-bit version.

I reported too soon--now when I click on the .deb to move it to the trash--Nautilus segfaults & then restarts.

I also faced the nautilus crashed problem yesterday. I think I will have to fix some code by replacing deprecated function calls. I will attach updated patch soon.

I have updated the deb at the link specified in comment 4. For other architectures you will find the .deb in my PPA soon.
NOTE: If you want to use version from my PPA then please uninstall the version which was installed from the deb at the link in comment 4.

comfirmed that nautilus-open-terminal_0.8-1ubuntu2~ppa1_i386.deb
works, and i cant reproduce any segfaults or crashes

    - pkg_config_ext_dir.patch - Get nautilus extension directory from
      pkg-config to make sure this extension is installed correctly.
    - fixes_from_svn.patch
      * Port to GIO APIs. (LP: #185435)
      * Invoke '$SHELL' instead of the the hardcoded '/bin/sh' when executing
        a terminal over SSH. (LP: #90880)
  * debian/rules
    - Get nautilus extension directory from pkg-config.
  * debian/control
    - Bump nautilus-extension version required for the GIO APIs.
