Bug Description

lintian warns for this package:
W: magicor: debian-changelog-file-is-a-symlink

It's ok to have the debian changelog be a symlink to another package from the same source if there's a strict versioned dependency between the two packages, but magicor only Depends: magicor-data when it needs to depend: magicor-data (= ${binary:Version}). Without the versioned dependency, you have no way to ensure that the packages are upgraded at the same time (which is probably what you want anyway), and therefore the changelog under /usr/share/doc/magicor may not match that version of the package.

This bug was fixed in the package magicor - 1.0-2ubuntu1

---------------
magicor (1.0-2ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * Sync with Debian unstable (LP: #234150).
  * New Ubuntu changes:
    + debian/control:
      - As Ubuntu's cdbs symlinks identical files, magicor needs a
        strict versioned Depends on magicor-data for the symlinked
        files to be in the same version (LP: #183029).
      - Modify Maintainer value to match DebianMaintainerField spec.
