Bug Description

lintian reports the following error in this package:
E: sugar-datastore: python-script-but-no-python-dep ./usr/bin/datastore-service

Inspection of /usr/bin/datastore-service shows that the program depends on the 'logging' module, which is not part of the minimal set included in Essential via python-minimal. To guard against packages in an "installed" state when their dependencies are not actually configured and in a consistent state, please add this missing dependency on 'python'.

I was expecting that if the package depends on another that is sure to depend on python there's no need for an explicit dependency.
this one depends on sugar-base and python-dbus that both depend on python so this is why I knowingly omitted the dep. It's been a while since I read the python or debian policy so it may actually be incorrect to rely on such things.
I'll fix the package.

This bug was fixed in the package sugar-datastore - 0.8.0-3ubuntu1

---------------
sugar-datastore (0.8.0-3ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

  * debian/control: bump standard version to 3.7.3
  * Switch to python-central (LP: #183017, #183021)
