Bug Description

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

Since $ROOTFSTYPE and $LOOPFSTYPE are null even when loopmounting over ntfs, sendsigs.omit is never set.
This results in system freeze when halting/rebooting.

I am not sure that checking ROOTFSTYPE/LOOPFSTYPE is necessary, simply executing the following will do:

mkdir -p /dev/.initramfs/varrun
pidof mount.ntfs >> /dev/.initramfs/varrun/sendsigs.omit
pidof mount.ntfs-3g >> /dev/.initramfs/varrun/sendsigs.omit

This bug was fixed in the package ntfs-3g - 1:1.1120-1ubuntu2

---------------
ntfs-3g (1:1.1120-1ubuntu2) hardy; urgency=low

  * Always add ntfs and ntfs-3g to sendsigs.omit (LP: #181669).
