Bug Description
Upstream bug: https:/
The window previews available in d-2-d change order so that the most recently used one is always at the top. This causes confusion as the window which was at the bottom last time you clicked on the icon is now at the top.
This has been fixed upstream to keep the previews in the same order that the windows were created.
[ Impact ]
Windows previews in ubuntu dock change order so that the top one is always the most recently used, causing confusion.
[ Test case ]
- Open two window instances of a program (say, nautilus)
- Click in the ubuntu dock icon to select the window to focus
- Choose one at the bottom
- Click again in the dock icon
- The one that was at the bottom before (and now focused) should still be in the
same position
[ Regression potential ]
No windows in popup selector could be visible at all
