Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-translate

While on Ubuntu the proper installation directory for schema files seems to be /usr/share/gconf/schemas, this package installs gnome-translate.schemas in /etc/gconf/schemas. The default configuration values specified in the schema file are therefore ignored.

---------------
gnome-translate (0.99-0ubuntu4) intrepid; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/02_language_selections.dpatch:
    - Restore language selections at startup (LP: #247347).
  * debian/rules:
    - Install .schema file under /usr/share/gconf/schemas (LP: #176607).
    - Do not remove *.xml files (LP: #192164).
  * Fix some lintian warnings:
    - Do not ignore make distclean errors.
    - Build-depends on debhelper (>= 5.0.51~).
    - Adhere to new Homepage field.
    - Install up-to-date autotools header files.
    - .desktop file is now Freedesktop compliant.
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.8.0:
    - Add debian/README.source to document dpatch usage.
