Bug Description

GTK3 application windows which use client-side decorations (CSD), such as GNOME Disks, are shown with an "extra" standard titlebar on Kubuntu 17.10 Beta 1. This standard titlebar is redundant and appears to be a regression.

summary: - Redundant titlebar in GTK3 header bar applications
+ Redundant titlebar in GTK3 CSD applications
affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) → kwin (Ubuntu)

This is a result of adding gtk3-nocsd to our meta and seed, which is a change I am minded to revert shortly unless there is a better solution forthcoming.

This bug was fixed in the package kubuntu-meta - 1.355

---------------
kubuntu-meta (1.355) artful; urgency=medium

  * Refreshed dependencies
  * Removed gtk3-nocsd from desktop-recommends, full-recommends
    For now, using gtk3-nocsd causes more issues than it solves
