Impact

The only purpose of this update is to update the reported GNOME version number to 3.24.2. Since this is the last scheduled project-wide point release for GNOME 3.24, this should be the last update like this for Ubuntu 17.04.

Test Case
---------
Install gnome-recipes (this version is a very large download; it will be a smaller download in 17.10)
Open the Recipes app. In the top bar, click the Recipes app menu and select About.
Switch to the System tab. The Desktop should say "GNOME 3.24.2".

There shouldn't really be a regression here.

Accepted gnome-desktop3 into zesty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-desktop3/3.24.2-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

I upgraded gnome-desktop3 to 3.24.2-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu GNOME 17.04. GNOME Recipes' System tab says my desktop is "GNOME 3.24.2".
