It's great to see this moving forward!
I will temporarily move the owncloud plugin into the account-plugins project, as a deb package called account-plugin-owncloud.

Once we get at least the calendar application to use it we can add the package to the image.

I don't see any Owncloud option under Accounts after updating to OTA 12.

Yes Sam, that's correct: accounts providers are visible only if there is at least one installed application which can use such accounts. Since at the moment there isn't such an app, the account won't be visible.

If you install this test application, then the owncloud account will appear: http://www.mardy.it/archivos/owncloud-bookmarks.mardy_0.1_armhf.click
