Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

As stated in summary synaptic uses changelogs.ubuntu.com urls for all packages, irrespective of their origin (a PPA in my case) and fails.

tested with medibuntu.
changelogs for ppa will be available as soon as soyuz task in bug 45129 is done.

launchpad doesn't provide a normalized way to fetch the changelog for a PPA. Currently, the only way to retrieve the changelog url is to use the lp api and that won't be implemented into synaptic.
