Bug Description

The "Inverted" theme (in /usr/share/themes/Inverted) is rather another visal style of clearlooks than an accessibility-theme. It is not one of the inversed contrast themes. So it should be moved to gnome-themes or gnome-themes-extra.

Thank you for your bug. That's an upstream request, to send on bugzilla.gnome.org by somebody from bugsquad, we will not change that in a distribution specific way

Maybe I am wrong, but it think in the upstream tarball (gnome-themes-2.20.0.tar.gz) includes all themes and they would be installed to DATADIR/themes/. The decision which theme belongs to which package seems to be done only in the debian/gnome-themes*.install files in the source package.

gnome-themes-extra is a different source package and tarball upstream so it would require upstream changes

In that case gnome-themes would be the appropriate package for this theme, which would not require upstream changes.

  * Sync with Debian
  * debian/control.in:
    - list gnome-accessibility-themes-extras variant
    - updated maintainer information
    - use required replaces for the install changes
  * debian/*.install:
    - install Inverted theme to gnome-themes (LP: #152195)
    - install HighContrastLargePrintInverse to gnome-accessibility-themes
    - install some accessibility themes to gnome-accessibility-themes-extras
