language on terminal is da-dk instead of nb-no

is it just apt or are other applications affected?

only when I use apt, and only if you do a clean install, if you upgrade from 15.04 as I have done for a week ago the bug is not there so only if you use the last daily iso file and install from it.

I have used vmware to test the iso files.

and I have not tested all applications in this vmware install, but I saw the bug when I installed the open-vm-tools with apt-get install, and then I installed banshee so I could take some screenshots with vmware and upload them here.

can you run "locale" in a terminal and paste the output here please? and attach the contents of these two files:

as i can see in the line "LANGUAGE=nb_NO:nb:no_NO:no:nn_NO:nn:da:sv:en" it says da (Danish) and sv (Swedish) and en (English), but what does that mean?

I have not chosen more than one language on the Ubuntu GNOME system because I choose Norwegian when I installed, and I expect it to be just Norwegian then and English (or Nynorsk nn-no) when it's no translation available on Norwegian bokmål (nb-no)

This is because we lost this change in localechooser

is it possible to change it back to where it was earlier before the release thursday?

If not, is it possible to edit the translation after release and release it as an update?
