[Impact]
Not so useful messages spam the kernel log.
[Test Case]
Boot 3.16 kernel with a platform that doesn't supply an ACPI _HPP method.
[Fix]

Impact is minimal, just removing dev_info and dev_warn statements.

This is happenning since I updated to 14.10. Every second, these lines (below) are added to my system log. I don't see any problem with my machine aside from the system log growing very fast.

There is definitely an improvement with 3.16.0-26-generic but I still get this in the log every one second:
