Bug Description
Ubuntu 14.10 r22
1. Navigate to System Settings > "Wi-Fi".
2. Navigate to "Connect to hidden network..." (if bug 1365984 has been fixed) or "Other network" (if it hasn't).
3. In "Network name", enter a non-existent network name, e.g. "fqwhgads".
4. Tap "Connect" once (if bug 1365997 has been fixed) or twice (if it hasn't).
What happens: System Settings returns to the "Wi-Fi" screen, with no indication that the connection didn't work.
What should happen: "When you choose the commit action, the dialog should remain open to show connection/setup progress. All the controls except 'Cancel' (if the connection is cancellable) should become insensitive, and a spinner should appear ... If connection authentication fails, a variation of the dialog should appear. If you had just entered authentication details, this dialog should morph from the previous one ... On phone, it should have body text 'Your authentication details were incorrect.'"
