phablet-config writable-image uses clashing option (sudopasswd vs serial) and has bad error handling

Bug Description

using any of the package managing options of phablet-config writable-image does not properly spill errors when no password is set. additionally phablet-config throws a traceback if -s is used for the serial number of a device.

the option to supply the password need to be renamed and proper error messages need to be added.
