Bug Description

I set up two google account and set to sync. The contacts got populated fine and I was able to set favourites. Then later on, all contacts have disappeared from the phone and I am not longer able to sync "Failed to sync. Forbidden/denied". I think tried to remove the account from online accounts, but this does not work. (click on delete account, and button darkens but nothing happens).

address-book-service (0.1.1+14.10.20140815-0ubuntu1) utopic; urgency=low

  [ Ubuntu daily release ]
  * New rebuild forced

[ Renato Araujo Oliveira Filho ]
  * Removed dbus autostart service file. We do not need dbus autostart
service file we are using upstart with respawn. (LP: #1347557)
  * Update contact position in contacts map after update. This is
necessary because the contact map is used on contact view and should
    keep the contact sort.

The problem here is that sometimes EDS is not getting started or starts and crashes. Whenever the contacts are blank, ps reveals that evolution-addressbook-factory is not running. This should get started by dbus activation, and we've now explicitly started it via the address-book-service.conf upstart job but yet the problem still happens occasionally. The conclusion is eds is crashing somehow, so we need to get a crash file to determine what is happening there.

Steps to reproduce:
- install some packages on your device (via apt-get install or citrain device-upgrade)
- log onto device
- sudo reboot
- after reboot, send a text message to phone
- open messaging app
- notice if your conversations have contacts associated or not, if not means the problem has happend. Or you can open address book app and see if it is blank.

Steps to attempt to get a crash file or further debug:
<renato> add this to your "/etc/profile" : ulimit -c unlimited
<renato> and this to your upstart job
<renato> +env G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all
<renato> +env ADDRESS_BOOK_SERVICE_DEBUG=On
<renato> these last lines will increase the debug messages

Seeing this again on krillin in build 44+. The log was showing we tried to restart EDS 10 times and it still didn't get started.
I would suggest doing two things:
1) after the 10th time trying to restart EDS, exit the address-book-service, which should cause upstart to restart it. make sure to add logging that says when this condition occurs.
2) renable the folks/EDS logging in the upstart conf file as this may give us more info when the error occurs
