Bug Description

Hi,

xscreensaver has been replaced with light-locker under 14.04 (at least under Xubuntu).

Unfortunately, there is no (or no obvious) way to configure light-locker, i.e. to configure the time when the screen is locked or whether to lock the screen at all. There are power settings in the XFCE settings menu, but even if I choose to not lock the screen, this locker appears, locking the screen. Which is annoying.

Hadmut

The new graphical configuration tool is currently provided by a separate package called "light-locker-settings". I suggest that it should be added to the Recommends list (debian/control).

Unfortunately light-locker seems to ignore the settings made with light-locker-settings.

Sorry to say that, but light-locker is a permanent annoyance in its current state.

Did you restart your session after setting up light-locker with light-locker settings?

Also, if something doesn't work as expected, be a little more specific about what's not working. Marking this as invalid, because it's certainly not a bug in light-locker, possibly in light-locker-settings.

I think that light-locker should recommend light-locker-settings, because it allows the user to configure light-locker via a simple settings dialog.
