libgoocanvas2 depends on libgtk2.0-dev - is it necessary?

Bug Description
libgoocanvas2 package depends on libgtk2.0-dev which results in a ton of othr dependencies in form of other development packages. Is it necessary? If not, please remove this unneeded dependency. If it is, however, please discard this bugreport.
