Bug Description

* Impact:
Java JAR files are opened in file-roller instead of Java Runtime Environment

* Steps to reproduce:
Install JRE, for example Oracle Java7
In File manager (nautilus) click on Jar file, for example download Minecraft.jar file from https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/Minecraft.jar

Actual result:
minecraft.jar file is opened in file-roller instead of Java Runtime Environment (but Java Runtime Environment can be choosed by right-click->Open With->Java7 Runtime)

Expected result:
.jar file should be opened in Java Runtime

* Regression potential:
verify that clicking on java types in nautilus works as it should

Thank you for your bug report, dropping the lines isn't exactly correct since without a default any of the handlers can be used. Which means that for e.g "application/x-java-archive", file-roller could still be used.

I'm doing an upload with uses openjdk-7-java.desktop as default for those

Hello Mantas, or anyone else affected,

Accepted desktop-file-utils into saucy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/desktop-file-utils/0.21-1ubuntu3 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!
