At a glance the diff looks rather largish for what the changelog promises.....

The reason for this is that the Debian package maintainer does not clean the package very well -- it also has a large diff against the .orig.tar.gz file. If you would prefer, I could narrow down the diff to just the debian/ directory, but then it wouldn't be the full "debdiff" output against my actual package -- should still work fine though.

I can tell you that 400kb of diff is more than I've got time to review. I can't say about anyone else.

Here is a smaller diff, with the useless changes removed.

    - Use .shtml instead of .html to fix a lintian error.

  * debian/maxima-emacs.emacsen-install:
    - Install symlinks for source files rather than copying them. This
      makes find-function work.
    - Install symlink for *.lisp so that we don't need to add
      /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/maxima to load-path.
  * debian/maxima-emacs.emacsen-startup:
    - Remove use of /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/maxima, since this
      causes load-path shadows and is not needed anymore.
