Blender 2.44 starts windowed by default

Bug Description

Binary package hint: blender

Since version 2.44 Blender will start windowed by default and require -W parameter for fullscreen mode. Thus both Blender menu entries in Ubuntu 7.04 starts Blender in windowed mode.

Actually, this isn't fixed for me:

I had gutsy development version and blender 2.44 both windowed and fullscreen instances run in fullscreen for me. I've installed blender 2.5 from getdeb.net and the problem persists.
