Bug Description

It looks like the patches are in the linux wacom project. It would be nice to have support for these tablets before saucy ships.
I bought one today to replace my broken wacom intuos 5.

instructions on how to build these myself would also be acceptable.

This bug was fixed in the package libwacom - 0.7-1ubuntu2

---------------
libwacom (0.7-1ubuntu2) saucy; urgency=low

  * update-to-git.diff: Pull changes up to current git master, since
cherry-picking stuff seems pointless and fragile (FTBFS). Adds new
model & styli definitions, fixes typos etc.
  * add-intuos-pro.diff: Dropped, included above.

any chance of a backport or do I need to move to trusty in order to have hardware support?

After some testing I came to the same conclusion. Which package do I report that bug/request against?

Ok I can confirm that the updated kernel works. However I can't use it as I depend quite heavily on the nVidia binary drivers to get work done. :/

so you just hang on until nvidia builds against 3.13.. which should be pretty soon.

ok that works for me except that. I am losing a lot of OpenGL performance going from 3.12 to 3.13 - my Unigine test scene is ~21fps in the former and ~4fps in the later. Short story I still can't work without rebooting.

If you had nvidia/fglrx installed it's because the dkms module failed to build. Upgrade and enable the driver again. Otherwise file a new bug.

Morjens. I am looking forward to the stable release of Trusty and getting Linux support for my tablet because I am something of a newbie, and I feel a bit squeemish installing a new kernel ahead of schedule. Kiitos avustasi. :)

OK - just a comment to say that recent updates fixed my framerate problems and I am able to be productive using my Wacom Pro and (K)ubuntu.

I have a problem D:!! I can't upgrade from Kernel 3.2.0-6 Xorg xserver 1.11.3, or my ATI driver will be not supported if I upgrade xserver. I need to work with my Intuos Pro. I have a partiton with Trusty but open driver overheats my computer, and Maya Don't crashes in Ubuntu 12.04.1.

Is there a problem if you can biuld something to install Intuos Pro on my current kernel not loosing the Ati Display Driver?

My Ati is a Radeon HD 4250

Sorry for my above comment. Just a Doubt. The xserver-xorg-input-wacom-lts-trusty may conflict with my Xorg-xserver 1:7.6+12ubuntu2, and the fglrx 8.97 privative Ati driver?
