Update request and SRU request - Update to Mesa 9.0.3 stable

One reason for the update:

On Mesa 9.0 and 9.0.2. Intel hardware is not handling GL_ANY_SAMPLES_PASSED_ARB as it has not been correctly implemented. This has been corrected in 9.0.3.

This can be seen in the bleeding edge svn of the Crystal Space game engine.

i915 piglit went from 10533/11201 tests passed to 10541/11201 without regressions.

radeon piglit went from 10533/11201 to 10541/11201, and seemingly regressed on

"piglit/framework/../bin/ext_framebuffer_multisample-unaligned-blit 6 stencil msaa -auto"

But after closer investigation I could get the failure on 9.0.2 too,
and I managed to get a success once on 9.0.3 too. I believe that this is a flaky test
on radeon, and not a real regression.

nouveau: TBD, it's crashing on piglit. Possibly because I updated piglit before testing, it was working last time.

nouveau:

3 tests started failing, but after investigation it turned out they were just flaky.

Test count went from from 10076/11269 to 10079/11269 (6 fixes, 3 flaky tests 'regressed').

Accepted mesa into quantal-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/9.0.3-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

We actually want to run the piglit tests against the packages once they're built in quantal-proposed, on the off chance that there's something funky in our buildd-generated packages, but having the tests available when reviewing whether to accept into proposed is nice. Thanks!

Why this update wants to remove google earth, wine, teamviewer and so on?

Oh, looks like the mesa build failed to upload on i386, I've restarted it. When there is a newer version available only on 1 arch, it always wants to remove the other arch for some reason. Just wait a bit longer.

I uploaded mesa-lts-quantal now too. It took a bit longer because my packaging scripts weren't able to automatically include old changelog entries yet, and I didn't want to have to do it by hand any more.

I will test the mesa-lts-quantal as soon as it is built and shows in proposed.

The mesa-lts-quantal source looks stuck in the upload queue.

This update fixes the issue for GL_ANY_SAMPLES_PASSED from GL_ARB_oq2 in the Crystal Space svn head.

Been running 9.0.3 on 12.04.2 since it droppped into proposed with no issues.

If you would like any additional testing performed. Please let me know.

Can somebody please test mesa in quantal and mesa-lts-quantal in precise?
I have a security update to prepare, and would rather not supersede these.

Run and tested on precise since landing in proposed. Fixes bug listed and has run fine without error in all other instances.
