MeTV freeze on startup 12.04

Bug Description
MeTV opens to fullscreen, with last viewed channel running. When you attempt to change channel or minimise, or use top panel, MeTV freezes all actions, last view channel still plays though, eventually a force quit notice appears.
Saying MeTV is not responding.
This has only happened during the last week following 12.04 updates??
