Experimental branch with different history that cannot be merged into trunk. Subsequent chunks are moved from here to dedicated merge proposals. As this branch fully (textually) merges into trunk, it can be abandoned. In the mean time it is useful as additional backup of my work and as a quick demo for the new features.
