Also, I noticed that the pgperl-2.0.2 version doesn't follow standard
CPAN naming conventions for the tar file. Since the tar contains a
directory called Pg-2.0.2 the tar should be called Pg-2.0.2.tar.gz.

Incidentally, with the error message changes in 7.4 they both now fail
the following test:
$conn->errorMessage ..... not ok: FATAL: database "rumpumpel" does not
exist

Which can be resolved by patching "test.pl":
