Resolved numerous minor issues with build and test. Updated Copyright date to current year.

Made Event a final class, rather than an abstract superclass. The actions associated with events have been split-off into a separate class hierarchy, based upon the Action abstract superclass. Miscellaneous other minor changes.

Corrected some ScalaDoc formatting. Scala sources in Eclipse are now represented by an "S" icon, instead of a "J" (Java) icon (weird).

Added version for maven-surefire-
plugin into top-level POM file. Re-ordered maven plugins alphabetically by name. Ensured that project uses the workspace default JRE (which ought to be latest available J2SE 1.6 JDK). - 57. By mja

Initial check-in of new Scala sources. Basic simulation engine code and time measurement features implemented (but not yet fully tested). The Maven POM files have not been fully debugged as yet: parent & child modules haven't been fully configured; test suites are not executing automatically - currently awaiting a release of the maven-scalatest
-plugin to assist with that; Maven site generation untested; ScalaDoc generation untested; release & distribution code untested. - 56. By mja

It's that time again, when Facsimile gets to be re-written in a new language. First there was C++ (too complex for most potential users, poor mult-threading & cross platform support, etc.), then came Java (crap generics, no mulitple inheritance, etc.) then C#/.NET (better generics than Java, but buggy Mono compiler, controlled by the evil empire of Microsoft, etc.), then Java once more (still as crap as ever), but now I've finally discovered the language that makes the most sense: Scala. Scala suffers from some issues related to running on the JVM (generics in particular), but it has so many excellent features (mixins, operators, functional programming, etc.) that I've decided to bite the bullet and re-start the project, once more. Removing all files from the project, with the new proto-version to be committed shortly.
