Actually, yes you do need swap interval 0. I was accidentally testing
the wrong build.

No need to default to swapinterval 0. The bug still happens with the
default swap interval 1 too.

examples: Introducing mir_demo_client_wacky, which demonstrates
unpredictable frame scheduling.

I'm hoping someone can tell me I've made a mistake here. Either that or
hoping someone uses this to find and fix the frame scheduling bug.
