* Merge from debian unstable, remaining changes:
- Add --without-arts to configure flags (arts is gone and package will
FTBFS without the configure change).
- Patch python/testsuite/ trigeneral. test to use hashlib instead of the
deprecated md5 module. The DeprecationWarning in itself causes the test
to fail. Applied inline.

means that desktop users don't need to install mpich, and cluster users
