debian/patches/99_factor_test_for_glibc_20080505: Wrote patch to
fix test case for factor. Glibc changed the output form of getopt's
error messages between 2.7 (in hardy) and 20080805 (current version in
intrepid). (LP: #243375)

25. By Michael Stone <email address hidden>

* [76] Add ubuntu/upstream patch to prevent failure of cp of a special
(e.g., fifo) file to an existing file
* [71] change getgrouplist patch to skip the autoconf test and use
getgrouplist unconditionally. (Patch isn't immediately ready for
upstream anyway, and I assume that glibc provides this function
on all our supported platforms. If this turns out to not be true,
  I'll revisit.) (Closes: #459615)

24. By Steve Langasek

debian/rules, debian/control: invoke autoconf during the build so
that the patch to use getgrouplist will really take effect.
LP: #203723.

23. By Matthias Klose

* Merge from Debian; remaining changes:
  - 60_ubuntu-force-clobber-specials.patch: Cause cp to replace special
files when "-a -f" is specified, and the special already exists; instead
of just erroring. (Reported upstream in
    http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-coreutils/2006-07/msg00018.html).
    Updated for 6.10.
  - debian/coreutils.preinst: Add bug numbers in comment.

22. By Michael Vogt

* Merge from debian unstable, remaining changes:
  - 60_ubuntu-force-clobber-specials.patch: Cause cp to replace special
files when "-a -f" is specified, and the special already exists; instead
of just erroring. (Reported upstream in
    http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-coreutils/2006-07/msg00018.html)
  - 64_mkdir-chmod-race.patch: Avoid --mode race when using mkdir in a
world-writable directory. Another local user could use the race
condition to gain unintended permissions to files. (Debian #304556,
    fixed upstream in 6.1). [CVE-2005-1039]
  - 99a_fix_cp_manpage: Fix formatting of 'mv' and 'cp' manpages. (Debian
    #351601, fix applied upstream).
* drop 98_fix_chmod_manpage, applied upstream

  Debian

20. By LaMont Jones

Trigger rebuild for hppa.

19. By Adam Conrad

Add patches/99_cu_futimens.patch to rename the internal futimens
function, so it doesn't conflict with the same from glibc-2.6.
