Ok, at first it wasn't completely obvious to me if it's the same flakiness as before. But then from the 2 failures that were reported for the new version, I saw 2 tests failing in the first case and a completely different one in the second one. So it seems like usual flakiness.

This is a bad situation, I think we (release team) should be applying pressure on us (desktop team) to not have flaky tests in the packages we maintain. I'm going to try and get fixing this scheduled to be worked on.
