This feature would add support for well-formed comments of the form "(?P#...)". Well-formed comments allow for nesting of parenthesis as well as escaping a closing parenthesis which normally would close the comment. This differs from (?#...) in that the standard comment form will automatically close the commented expression at the first closing parenthesis is encounters, regardless of nesting.
