Misc. bugfixes, thanks to good hard testing and user mtvoid (Many thanks!).

Seems great and stable. I am not sure about local-install and setting environment variables from automake.

Added Emacs integration. Everything seems to be working, tested on Debian Sid with Emacs 23.

More testing would be nice, if anyone uses Emacs.
