In my opinion ffmegthmbs and kdegraphics-thumbnailers should be recommended by dolphin because they are used to show previews in dolphin's "preview mode".

AFAIU video thumbmails switched off by default. So I we recommend ffmpegthumbs, video thumbnail should be on by default. If not on by default, ffmpegthumbs is better only Suggests:
