Starting the porting effort to Gnome3 platform (libpeas, gtk3, rhythmbox 3, etc)
So far the following are accomplished:
- Fixed up build system to put data files in datarootdir (usually /usr/share) to work with Rhythmbox find_file API
- Updated a bunch of Rhythmbox APIs to their new equivalents
- Updated the libspotify usage to accommodate updated API (new arguments)
- Most of the port from RBPlugin to libpeas is done but not 100% workingTODO (in descending order of priority):
- Figure out why a second instance of the plugin class is created when creating the configure dialog
- Port GConf usage to GSettings
- Figure out why configure script throws an error about intltoolize (po/POTFILES.in) - note that this isn't a fatal error because you can call make anyway
- Fix any high-level feature bugs once the core functionality is working again
- Squash warnings that may or may not be a problem (see //XXX in code)
- Figure out reference counting and find/squash any memory leaks that occur during normal usage (not interested in fixing leaks due to deactivated plugin, very uncommon case)
