Experimental branch to test the conversion of the fff routines into pure BSD code by removing all GPL dependencies. Preliminary analysis indicates that numpy/scipy can satisfy the existing need for GSL in fff; the work in this branch will explore that approach for the whole codebase. Cython will be used as the preferred wrapping/low level/optimization mechanism.
