This working branch contains the packaging for the August release of open-vm-tools.
The actual merge proposal for this release will be created after the release of Oneiric Beta 1. This is because there are a few issues that can only be checked when installing on a clean system.
Some files MAY be missing from the branch because I'm using diff files to update the files to the newest version.
THE PREP IS DONE, FINAL PROPOSAL HAS BEEN CREATED. Can be found here:

Outstanding issues:
*Numlock doesn't engage properly after installing package (I have NumLockX installed to fix this).
*When installing package DKMS files, the following error pops up (actually 2 lines of output, but I merged it): "make: *** vmxnet/vsock: No such file or directory. Stop."
- It's a kernel issue.

Removed -Wno-unused-
but-set- variable from CFLAGS, package now has full compatibility with GCC 4.6.x, and builds successfully without it
