MuseScore Nightly Builds (unstable development builds)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MUSESCORE SNAPSHOT BUILDS (DEVELOPMENT BUILDS) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This PPA contains unstable pre-releases of MuseScore for testing purposes.
See https://launchpad.net/~mscore-ubuntu/+archive/ubuntu/mscore3-stable for
stable releases. You can have nightlies installed alongside normal builds,
so you can (should!) keep using a normal build for everyday score editing.

The upstream-provided AppImage nightlies may be used on older systems (see
https://musescore.org/en/download#Nightly-versions). The builds provided
here are, for now, manually uploaded snapshot builds, not automatically
generated nightlies. They are also available in Debian experimental.

‣‣‣ These packages are NOT suitable for ”KDE neon”!
‣ Use https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:mirabile:mscore instead.

INSTALLING NIGHTLY BUILDS: (run these commands from the terminal)
  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mscore-ubuntu/mscore-nightly
  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get install musescore-snapshot

Install the SoundFont from the stable release PPA (see above).

DO *NOT* USE THESE PPAs on Debian, only on Ubuntu!

REMOVING: (Optional - should be safe to keep nightlies & normal builds.)
  sudo apt-get remove musescore-snapshot
  sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:mscore-ubuntu/mscore-nightly
