Allow the platform to read the fd's and data from the buffer message abstraction. This will let the platform to read from the buffer messages coming back from the client.

Also, the resource_cache in the BufferIpcMessage was a bit misplaced (especially in light of the additions in the MP), so I moved that responsibility back to the SessionMediator.

Simplify alpha-related attributes, removing the recently added
alpha_enabled(). It adds no functionality that's not already
available via alpha() or shaped(). So drop it.

As a bonus, this also fixes LP: #1373698.
