Another try to get the new documentation chapter right.

Added a manual section about error and warning messages as a starting point that can be extended later.

Fix bug #3044: opsubst crash

The bug report title is exaggerated as there was no crash, just an
error message. This fixes an example in the manual which didn't
work.

Add tests for share/physics/dimension.mac

Reverted my fix for compiling lapack with sbcl since it broke maxima on computers with low RAM.

More memory for sbcl. Thanks to 大曲　駿 for reminding me about this.

documented my commits in order to reduce the work involved in making a release.
