I created this version to set the root of the media scan to the DCIM folder. I download photos from my Android phone which mounts as a USB drive and has a DCIM folder. But it also has many other folders with JPG images (e.g. wallpaper and photos attached to notes and images downloaded by apps) that I do not want it to download.
This version starts scanning in the DCIM folder if it exists. It also ignores all folders that start with a period because my phone adds a .thumbnails folder inside of the DCIM folder that I don't care about.
